What is the Erasmus+ Consortium?

The “YOBU Erasmus+ Consortium” was established by Yozgat Bozok University, the coordinating institution, and Necmettin Erbakan University, a partner institution, within the framework of the “Mobility Project for Higher Education Students and Staff” under the “Erasmus+ Learning Mobility of Individuals” (Key Action 1) of the ERASMUS+ Program, supported by the European Commission and the Turkish National Agency, and running from 2019-2022.

The purpose of the YOBU Erasmus+ Consortium is to support the students of the consortium partners in internship mobility and the academic/administrative staff in teaching/training mobility.

Objectives

The ultimate goal of the consortium is to foster a culture of collaboration between universities, industry, NGOs, and professional organizations that will contribute to increasing the employment of qualified workforce and modernizing higher education fields within the framework of our university's internationalization strategy and its path to becoming an entrepreneurial university.

Other objectives can be listed as follows:

To bring together the international student exchange experiences of higher education institutions with the employment profile of the sector,

To improve cooperation between different sectors and higher education institutions,

To bring students with enhanced competencies, suitable for the workforce profile needed by the sector, into the job market,

To enable students to gain international experience and vision while doing practical work related to their academic fields,

To improve students' ability to adapt to multicultural work environments, and

To support students' career plans.
