DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DEPARTMENT COORDINATORS
- Regularly monitoring and staying informed about the information on the International Relations Office website at "erasmus.bozok.edu.tr"
- Ensuring that coordination between the Erasmus Coordination Office and the faculty/school/institute is carried out effectively
- Establishing new connections appropriate to the department's needs and encouraging faculty members in the department to enter into agreements.
- - To support the smooth running of Erasmus+ Mobility activities on behalf of the department, coordinating the operation of programs in the department for which they are the coordinator.
- To introduce the Erasmus+ Program to department students and faculty, guide students, and always respond to their information requests.
- To announce the announcements and selection results made by the Coordinator's Office for Erasmus+ Mobility applications in the department.
- To directly support the Erasmus+ Coordinator's Office in following up on the application processes of prospective students, and to check students' application documents.
- To assist and follow up on students' preparation for the exchange.
- To directly support our Coordinator's Office in following up on the application processes of outgoing students to their host institutions.
- To ensure the selection of courses to be taken at the host institution together with the student and the correct completion of the Learning Agreement form (the legal responsibility for the prepared agreement belongs to the department coordinators).
- To sign the learning agreements of students going on exchange.
- To prepare the adaptation forms of students going on exchange and submit them to the unit management board along with the necessary additional documents. Providing support:
- Supporting students abroad during their mobility period when they experience academic difficulties.
- Handling academic recognition/course equivalency/grade conversion processes for students who have completed their mobility activities and returned (completing course equivalency forms and submitting them to the unit's administrative board along with supporting documents).
- Obtaining feedback from returning students and sharing this information with students going on exchanges in subsequent semesters.
- Signing learning agreements for incoming students and providing information about course content.
- Informing incoming students about the education system, grading, and evaluation.
- Assisting incoming students in adapting when necessary and assigning a volunteer student to assist them if needed.
- Preparing the student's transcript after the completion of their academic term.
- Working in coordination with the instructors teaching the courses taken by the student.
