JOB DESCRIPTION

In accordance with the aims and principles determined by the senior management of Yozgat Bozok University; to carry out, plan, direct, coordinate, and supervise all activities necessary for the realization of all Erasmus activities in line with the vision and mission of the coordination office, in accordance with the principles of effectiveness and efficiency.

DUTIES, POWERS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To chair Erasmus boards and ensure the implementation of board decisions. To ensure coordination among Erasmus units and to ensure regular work among them. To motivate employees to achieve the mission and vision of Erasmus. To perform general supervision and control duties over the units of the coordination office. To ensure the effective and efficient use of the physical equipment and human resources of the coordination office. To represent the coordination office at a high level. To ensure that activities within the scope of duties and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the definitions and instructions of the existing internal control system. To act in accordance with the principles of cost-saving. To have the authority to perform the duties and responsibilities mentioned above. To be able to use the necessary tools and equipment for carrying out activities.
To exercise the representation authority of Yozgat Bozok University.
To have signing authority.
To have the authority to assign tasks to, direct, control, correct, warn, and request information and reports from the personnel under their supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION

To possess the general qualifications specified in the Civil Servants Law No. 657 and the Higher Education Law No. 2547.
To have the level of work experience required for the position.
To possess managerial qualities; to know the requirements of management and administration.
To possess the necessary decision-making and problem-solving skills to perform their duties in the best possible way. LEGAL BASIS

Duties of the Head of the Office of International Relations

a) To represent the Office,

b) To ensure the keeping of records of all correspondence, data and documents related to the Office's work,

c) To ensure coordination and integrity in the Office's work,

d) To submit a work report to the Rector at the end of the academic year regarding the Office's activities.

Duties of the Deputy Head of the Office of International Relations

Upon the proposal of the Head of the Office, one (1) faculty member is appointed by the Rector as the Deputy Head of the Office to assist the Head of the Office.

Duties of the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator

a) To carry out Erasmus+ activities in coordination with the International Relations Office,

b) To ensure the University's active participation in the European Education and Youth Programs Erasmus+ and Framework Research Programs, and to manage all relevant programs and projects on behalf of the University,

c) To coordinate and manage the course catalogs and similar preparations of university units so that students/teaching staff coming to the University for a certain period within the scope of European Union (EU) programs and projects can take/teach relevant courses,

d) To make the necessary plans to meet the needs of students and teaching staff coming to the University from program and partner country universities within the scope of relevant exchange programs and bilateral and/or multilateral projects,

e) To participate in and contribute to other education, research, organization and project activities within the scope of the Office's area of ​​interest,

f) To recommend one (1) person from among the teaching staff to the office head to be appointed as assistant coordinator when deemed necessary,

f) To report to the office head on the work of the Erasmus+ institutional coordination at the end of the academic year. to submit the report,

g) To perform tasks assigned by the office head and the rectorate.
